What is BookOrbit?

It's the self-hosted library server that Apogee connects to. You run the server, and Apogee is the app you use with it.

I can't sign in.

Check that your server address can be reached from your phone, then check your username and password. The signing-in guide goes through it step by step.

Can I sign in with SSO?

Username and password work everywhere. Full SSO and passkeys aren't open to third-party apps on BookOrbit today. You can follow it in issue #164.

What formats work?

EPUB and MOBI ebooks, CBZ and CBR comics, PDFs, and audiobooks.

Does it work offline?

Yes. Download a book or audiobook first.

Is my data private?

Apogee talks only to your own server. It has no analytics and no tracking. See the privacy policy.

How do I send a bug report?

In Apogee, open More, then Feedback & Bug Reports. Tap Copy Diagnostics, then Send by Email. Paste the diagnostics into the email and say what you were doing. The bug report guide has more.
